About the job:
As an OEM Sales Manager you will drive business growth by developing relationships with new Manufacturing OEM and system builder customers while expanding opportunities within existing accounts. Identify and pursue market share growth through strategic account management, customer engagement, and targeted business development initiatives. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and process innovations to effectively support customer needs. Lead the sales strategy and market development efforts for Gasketed, Brazed, and Fusion Bonded Heat Exchangers, with a focus on driving revenue growth across new and existing markets. Champion Alfa Laval’s position as a market leader in heat transfer solutions by fostering customer satisfaction and leveraging data-driven insights to support business decisions and organizational growth.
This is a hybrid position located in Richmond, VA.
As a part of the team, you will:
- Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Product and services.
- Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets, by working closely with experienced sales or sales team leader.
- Look for and manage leads from the market and customers and convert them in real business opportunities in other to ensure the pipeline.
- Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.
- Run the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools.
- Develop value quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up.
- Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.

What you know:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field and:
- 3+ years’ overall sales, engineering, or business development experience.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Knowledge of refrigeration applications and market.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
