Job Description

  

Italy is one of the world's leading boat manufacturers, and Raymarine has been working for years with all the major shipyards that produce boats ranging from 5 to 40 meters in length. 

We design, develop, and manufacture cutting-edge products, and work with main shipyards to deliver innovative, reliable, and easy to operate products and solutions. 

 

As OEM Sales Manager, you will handle both existing customers' portfolios and the development of new business opportunities in line with the objectives set in the annual budget. 

 

Over time, you will become the main point of reference for the client for any commercial issues. You will work closely with Customer Service in managing technical issues and will interface with the Marketing office in organizing promotional activities.  

 

These activities require a combination of commercial, relational, and technical skills, as well as a deep knowledge of the nautical sector and the specific needs of boatyards.

  • Managing commercial relationships with OEMs (boatyards) 

  • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with the main OEMs 

  • Regularly visiting OEMs to understand technical and commercial needs 

  • Negotiating contracts and supply conditions 

  • OEM Business Development 

  • Identifying new collaboration opportunities with OEMs in the design phase 

  • Proposing integrated electronic navigation solutions (GPS, radar, autopilots, monitoring systems, etc.) 

  • Collaborating with the technical team to customize products according to the OEM’s specifications 

  • Developing the super and mega-yacht market by introducing new products from the Raymarine Commercial division 

  • Technical-Commercial Support 

  • Coordinating, in synergy with after-sales colleagues, pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance 

  • Coordinating technical training for OEM’s teams 

  • Market Analysis and Commercial Strategy 

  • Monitoring trends in the nautical sector and among competitors 

  • Defining pricing and positioning strategies for the OEM channel 

  • Participating in boat show and industry events to promote the company and its products 

  • Internal Management and Reporting 

  • Collaborating with the R&D team (UK & USA) for the development of new products for the OEM market 

  • Preparing sales reports and forecasts for commercial management 

  • Coordinating with the marketing team to define communication strategies and support events 

  • Actively participating in boat shows and events organized by the company, as well as any events organized by OEMs 

  • This job is hybrid (onsite & remote)
