Job purpose:
The Organizational Development partner is a champion for winning culture at McCain. The OD partner strives to enable a future-ready workforce that is diverse, inclusive, and development-obsessed. Working closely with Business Leaders, HR stakeholders and the CE director OD and LD, the OD partner will work on identifying targeted or programmatic development needs, creating solutions that contribute to a high performing and future ready culture. This role reports to the Director of OD and LD.
As an OD partner you will be responsible for the coordination and/or delivery of global and regional development programs that produce measurable impact and support the talent pipeline. You will have a passion for DEI, helping to deliver our Bigger, Broader, Bolder DEI agenda, cultivating inclusivity, belonging and psychological safety, embrace our differences while treating people fairly. You will contribute to any other company or region-wide OD priority that emerges, e.g. activation leadership principles.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Program management: Provide operational support for the design, delivery and ongoing management of OD programs, tools and resources related to retaining, engaging and developing employees.
  • Communication Campaigns: Create and deliver engaging communication tools and targeted campaigns to support culture transformation. Utilize a range of communication channels, including email, Viva Engage, Teams, SharePoint, and offline methods, to convey Winning Culture messaging innovatively.
  • DEI project lead: Lead the DEI influencer program and co-lead or contribute to specific other DEI related projects or DEI priorities, e.g. collaborate with Talent Acquisition on regional recruitment strategies that support a diverse workforce with a specific, but not exclusive, focus on manufacturing.
  • Workshop and Training Facilitation: Coordinate, facilitate and deliver OD (Winning Culture) related workshops, training session, focus groups, listening sessions with a diverse group of participants, as well as with the HR community.
  • Create and deliver communication tools and targeted campaigns: Create engaging communication campaigns and tools supporting culture transformation, utilizing a range of communication channels from email, Viva Engage, TEAMs, SharePoint to offline communication as well as innovative ways of bringing across Winning Culture messaging.
  • Data analysis: Collect, analyze, and process data to drive awareness, highlight progress, and provide input for future OD actions in areas such as DEI, engagement, talent mobility, and succession planning.
  • Talent Development Coordination: Work with regional and global stakeholders to coordinate and follow up on talent development programs at the regional level, such as NEXT, Talent Talks, and female mentoring initiatives.
  • Partnership Building: Identify and establish internal and external partnerships that further strategic aspirations and share best practices and programs.

  • Advanced program and Project Management Skills
    • Manage and oversee complex programs and projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
    • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
    • Effectively juggle multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication Skills. Knowledge of creative tools an asset.
    • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective liaison with internal stakeholders.
    • Create engaging messages on a variety of Organizational Development (OD) topics across multiple channels.
    • Proficient in communication tools such as email, Viva Engage, TEAMs, SharePoint and offline methods.
    • Knowledge of tools like Canva for creating visually engaging content is advantageous.
  • Solid Influencing and Stakeholder Management Skills
    • Influence and persuade stakeholders to gain support for initiatives.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
    • Manage expectations and facilitate collaboration among diverse groups.
  • Good Facilitation, Training Delivery, and Coaching skills
    • Facilitate training sessions and deliver educational content effectively.
    • Provide coaching to individuals and teams.
  • Basic Knowledge of Change Management and Cultural Transformation
    • Understand change management principles and practices.
    • Support and implement change initiatives that align with organizational goals.
    • Guide organizations through cultural transformations effectively.
  • Solid Interpersonal and Networking Skills
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders at local, regional, and global level, and external partners such as learning vendors and agencies.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.


  • Basic knowledge and understanding of DEI principles, leadership development, and employee engagement, with a strong willingness to learn and grow in these areas.


  • Strong Analytical Skills
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to training effectiveness, participant feedback, and program outcomes.
    • Use data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in learning initiatives.


  • Good Technology Proficiency
    • Familiar with digital tools and platforms like learning management systems (LMS), PowerBI, and Excel.
    • Skilled in data collection, data analysis, and reporting to support learning initiatives.
    • Leverage technology to enhance training programs and track outcomes.


  • Reliable Professional Attitude
    • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
    • Set high standards for communication and behavior, enhancing the learning function's reputation.
    • Maintain composure under pressure, showing resilience and a positive attitude.
  • Manufacturing experience an asset

  • Proficient in English (written and spoken), French and/or Dutch
  • Willingness to travel as needed
