Healthcare United is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join a well established community hospital and affiliated physician group in the Lower Naugatuck Valley region of Connecticut. This is a full time, employed position within a respected healthcare organization serving a diverse and growing patient population.
This opportunity offers the ability to practice comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology in a supportive, physician led environment with strong clinical resources and an established referral network. The location provides convenient access to New Haven, Milford, Shelton, and surrounding coastal and suburban communities, with proximity to major metropolitan areas.
Requirements
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Perform deliveries and manage inpatient obstetric patients
- Provide outpatient gynecology services including preventive care and treatment of women’s health conditions
- Participate in shared call coverage with physician colleagues
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff
