OB/GYN Hospitalist Position – Mansfield, OHResponsibilities 

Pediatrix & Obstetrix Medical Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our labor and delivery team at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital in Mansfield, Ohio. Conveniently located 90 minutes from Cleveland and just one hour from Akron, this opportunity combines meaningful clinical work with access to both suburban comfort and metropolitan amenities.

In this OB/GYN hospitalist role, you will provide around-the-clock in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients, ensuring timely, high-quality care for mothers and newborns while supporting patient safety and clinical excellence.

OB/GYN Hospitalist Position Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour in-house OB/GYN hospitalist coverage, including OB triage, inpatient admissions, labor management, deliveries, and obstetric emergencies
  • Evaluate and manage OB/GYN patients presenting to the emergency department
  • Collaborate closely with community obstetricians, nursing staff, and perinatal teams to ensure seamless, coordinated care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary OB critical care teams, supporting quality initiatives and best practices in maternal care
  • Serve as an essential clinical resource to the hospital, ensuring consistent, expert obstetric coverage
