Residential Support Staff working at the Oasis House will use clinical skills to provide crisis de-escalation and increase clients’ coping with stress in the moment.  Residential Support Staff will offer short-term case management services as appropriate, referring to resources for a broad range of needs.  Clients will receive support to engage in goal-setting and

As a member of the residential staff, the incumbent works to establish and maintain a respectful and dignified atmosphere for psychiatrically-disabled residents. Work includes both housekeeping duties and providing safety and support to residents.  Residential staff will build relationships with residents and use clinical skills to engage clients in activities and self-regulation as appropriate and will communicate clinically relevant observations to supervisors and treatment team members.  Residential staff will comply with regulations for documenting services and clinical information, including incident reports, in a timely fashion.  Residential staff will engage in ongoing training to develop clinical skills.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Requirements: 2 years of experience in Mental Health or related field

Preferences: Bachelor's in a related field

License/Certifications

Required: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal vehicle with current registration, state inspection, and appropriate insurance.

Skills Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Mental Health or related field
