The NVH Lead Engineer is accountable for establishing and
managing NVH attribute targets, development standards, and validation
requirements. This role ensures clear linkage between vehicle-level NVH targets
and sub-system performance through requirement cascades and stakeholder
alignment.
- Understand & engage with stakeholders for
vehicle-level NVH performance requirements & targets.
- Cascade vehicle level performance targets to system
and component level
- Monitor program sub-system level performance status
against VTS
- Develop NVH sub-system level test standards and
correlation procedures
- Support engineering teams in applying best
practices for desired NVH performance
- Maintain NVH design guidelines and compliance
checklists
- Document attribute trade-offs and deviations for
management review
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Acoustics,
Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years’ experience in NVH attribute
development and vehicle integration
- Proficiency with NVH instrumentation and data
analysis tools (e.g., LMS, HEAD, Brüel & Kjær)
- Strong understanding of subjective NVH
evaluation and objective metrics
- Demonstrated cross-functional coordination and
documentation skills
