Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Manager to lead and support nursing operations across multiple departments within our facility. The ideal candidate is a positive, strong communicator and collaborative leader who is passionate about rural healthcare and committed to advancing clinical excellence, patient safety, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day oversight and leadership of nursing staff and patient care services
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and providers to optimize workflow and staffing
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Promote evidence-based practices, quality improvement initiatives, and patient satisfaction
- Oversee scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff education/training
- Monitors and supports staffing needs as needed.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff
- Participate in budgeting, policy development, and hospital committees as assigned
- Serve as a resource and mentor to nurses across various departments
- Participate in department quality measures, data collection and presentation.

QualificationsQualifications:
- Current RN license in the State of Michigan
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience; leadership/supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of rural healthcare, critical access hospital regulations, and standards of care
- BLS required; ACLS within 6 months, PALS within 18 months
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

Skills Required
- Current Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
- Master's degree in Nursing
- At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of rural healthcare, critical access hospital regulations, and standards of care
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification within 6 months
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 18 months
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
