Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add NPI Buyer located in Mukachevo, Ukraine.

Reporting to Supply Chain Manager “NPI/TPI Buyer” role involves coordination and implementation of ECO changes, new products or end-of-life products in accordance with Customer specific requirements.
 

What a typical day looks like:

• Ensuring availability of parts for new products according to the required quality, delivery, and cost.
• Scouting and supplier selection in line with divisional and local goals and policies.
• Achieving continuous improvement in quality, delivery and costs of all purchased components and sub-assemblies.
• Helping value engineering exercises to improve the value/cost ratios of all parts.
• Manage supplier relations.
• Arrange correct documentation to ensure release of new product at each relevant milestone of the new product project.
• Send out initial orders and requests for quotations (RFQ).
• Maintenance the purchase price in the system and work off price differences in Baan.
• Adjusting in time the correct purchase price in the system and keep traceability upon.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in materials or related field.
• A background in electronics manufacturing is preferred
