NPI Manufacturing Engineering Internship – 6 Months

Location: Tebrau 1 / i-Park Senai

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities. This role provides hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, contributing to real-world projects that enhance quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support NPI Projects – Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing new product introduction (NPI) projects to ensure smooth and timely launches.

  • Documentation – Help prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and validation protocols.

  • Testing & Validation – Participate in testing new products to ensure compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Process Improvement – Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements.

  • Data Analysis – Analyze data to optimize metrics such as cycle time, weld strength, and defect rates.

  • Regulatory Compliance – Assist in ensuring new products meet ISO13485 and other regulatory requirements.

  • Communication – Provide updates to team members and stakeholders on project progress and resolutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, product development, and quality assurance.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and data interpretation skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional projects.

  • Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with CAD, MATLAB, or other engineering tools.
