Join our team as an NPI Engineer! 

Play a key role in ensuring the successful launch and industrialization of new products within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new product introductions from concept through production, ensuring quality, cost, timing, and customer requirements are achieved. 

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate all New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure flawless product launches in alignment with defined NPI phases and project milestones.
  • Analyze product designs and support Manufacturing teams in defining and implementing the most suitable production processes and manufacturing solutions.
  • Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) assessments to optimize product manufacturability, reduce risks, and improve process efficiency.
  • Coordinate tooling acquisition, implementation, and validation activities together with Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering teams.
  • Coordinate PFMEA development activities, process risk assessments, and continuous improvement actions for new and existing products.
  • Support APQP activities and coordinate the creation of quality documentation, including Control Plans, process documentation, qualification packages, and customer requirements.
  • Manage engineering changes, design modifications, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Bill of Materials (BOM) updates throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Coordinate internal and external product qualification and homologation activities, ensuring timely completion of required documentation and approvals.
  • Work closely with Quality teams to analyze process issues, support corrective actions, reduce PPM levels, and drive product and process improvements.
  • Support customer, certification, and internal audits, providing technical expertise related to new product launches and manufacturing processes.
  • Train and support cross-functional teams on new product requirements, manufacturing processes, customer-specific requirements, and quality standards.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, Lean Manufacturing activities, waste reduction projects, and Kaizen programs to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
     

What We Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry within Manufacturing Engineering, New Product Introduction, Project Management, Quality, or related functions.
  • Experience coordinating new product introductions and product industrialization activities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and manufacturing process development.
  • Experience developing and coordinating PFMEA activities and process risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and other automotive quality core tools is considered a strong advantage.
  • Experience managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), product modifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) updates.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and process implementation for new product launches.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
