As a Nonprofit Salesforce Consultant: Experience Cloud Specialist, your role will involve close collaboration with clients to offer expert implementation support, optimize systems, and provide ongoing administration.




How You'll Contribute

  • Specialize in supporting Salesforce implementation projects through Experience Cloud configuration
  • Educate, guide, and empower clients in the Idealist Way
  • Balance response times and approvals across multiple assignments
  • Plan activities from requirements to solution design using prescribed project management tools and delivery methodologies to ensure continuity in communication and project quality
  • Escalate client or consultant capacity concerns to Client Success for resolution support
  • Successfully build and nurture long-term client relationships
  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions, to meet client needs, identify opportunities for business process and system alignment and optimization
  • Facilitate discovery, through user story collection, grooming, and prioritization
  • Favor declarative functionality and architectural cohesion when solving assigned user stories
  • Ensure quality design through validation and user acceptance testing
  • Maintain baseline data integrity, hygiene, and security
  • Provide documentation to support project team cohesion as well as client understanding and ownership of their system
  • Facilitate the selection and implement third-party solutions and applications as needed
  • Stay up to date on Salesforce best practice, echo system trends, and product releases
  • Advise and train clients on product enhancements, new functionality, and adoption opportunities
  • Alert Client Success of new opportunities

Your Background Includes

  • Baseline Expectation:
  • 3+ years Salesforce administration with strong declarative design skills and the ability to deliver customer-driven solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling complex and customized Experience Cloud implementations for nonprofits
  • Experience with UI related to Experience Cloud and an advanced knowledge of flows
  • Nonprofit Cloud Consultant Certification or Salesforce Administrator Certification with equivalent Salesforce for nonprofits experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to engage in multiple projects at one time
  • Creative and analytical thinking with a passion for solving customer problems with software solutions
  • Experience with nonprofits

  • Extra Credit:
  • Multiple Salesforce certifications
  • Experience managing projects independently or engaging in projects with technical and cross-functional components
