The Non-Aeronautical Director will be responsible for maximizing non-aeronautical revenue streams by planning, guiding, and reviewing the design and implementation of commercial facilities within airport infrastructure projects. This includes overseeing EPC design for duty-free areas, lounges, car parks, and other concessions, ensuring they are commercially viable, operationally efficient, and aligned with strategic business goals. The role also leads the execution and management of all concession agreements, ensuring optimal performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

Experience:

Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in airport commercial development, infrastructure planning, or EPC project management.

Proven track record in design review, concession planning, and commercial operations.

Experience in negotiating and managing concession agreements, preferably in aviation or large-scale public infrastructure.

Familiarity with airport master planning, retail and hospitality operations, and transportation hubs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.

Certifications in Project Management, Facilities Planning, or Commercial Real Estate are an advantage.

Strong understanding of EPC processes, airport commercial models, and contract management.

Proficiency in design review tools, financial modeling, and stakeholder engagement platforms.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

EPC Design Review & Planning

Lead the review of EPC design documents for all non-aeronautical facilities to ensure commercial viability and operational readiness.

Provide strategic input on layout, access, branding, and customer experience for duty-free, lounges, car parks, and other concessions.

Coordinate with engineering and design teams to align infrastructure with business objectives.

Concession Strategy & Implementation

Develop and execute concession strategies for retail, F&B, parking, and hospitality services.

Oversee the tendering, negotiation, and finalization of concession agreements.

Ensure timely implementation and operational readiness of all concession areas.

Revenue Optimization & Performance Monitoring

Monitor performance of concessionaires and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Analyze revenue trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Implement KPIs and reporting systems to track commercial performance.

Stakeholder Engagement

Liaise with internal departments, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth execution of non-aero projects.

Manage relationships with concessionaires, service providers, and commercial tenants.

Present updates and strategic plans to executive leadership and board members.

Operational Readiness & Handover

Ensure all non-aeronautical facilities are ready for operation in line with project timelines.

Lead testing, commissioning, and handover processes for commercial areas.

Support integration of non-aero operations into overall airport systems and workflows.
