MISSIONS Under the leadership of the Group Supply Chain Director, you coordinate projects for launching new products to ensure the expected service level to our customers while optimizing the overall supply chain cost and inventory levels. For these projects, you define and lead the implementation of the Supply Chain (component sourcing, production ramp-up, storage, distribution, and transportation of finished products). You work with strong functional link with the Group NOC SC Manager in order to ensure coordination and group strategy implementation.
Your main missions:
1. Challenge the product range and the design principles to secure reaching targeted SLA (customer delivery lead time), while optimizing inventory, depreciation and transport costs.
2. Define detailed safety stock strategy (components and finished products), and the Supply Chain ramp-up, in collaboration with the Planning teams
3. Run VSM analysis to formalize and validate the industrial scenario that enables optimization of the Supply Chain for our new products (production location, safety stock strategy, Supply Chain flows, logistics costs, and customs duties), in collaboration with the Supply Chain teams
4. Ensure the execution of actions to implement forecasts within the S&OP process and the implementation of MRP
5. Coordinate the implementation (building safety stock, configuring items in IT systems, validating packaging/labeling, and setting up 3PLs) to ensure the product launch.
6. Coordinate phase In of the new product and phase out of old range to secure availability of the new product and minimizing inventory and scrap of the old one
PROFIL
You have a master’s degree (Bac +5) in supply chain/logistics with at least 10 years of experience.
You possess project management skills and have a proven track record in leading Supply Chain projects within a matrix organization and an international environment.
You master supply chain principles, planning processes, distribution, and international flows.
You are proficient in continuous improvement approaches and lean manufacturing culture (APICS or lean certifications are a plus).
You have a good knowledge of markets and product life cycles.
You have experience with long-cycle industrial sectors (electronics, electrotechnics, and mechanics).
Your fluent English enables you to study technical documentation, write, and communicate with ease.
Your team spirit, interpersonal skills, and convictions will facilitate your interactions within an international organization.
Analytical skills are also required for this position.
Occasional international travel is to be expected.
