MVF help ambitious businesses grow by generating high volumes of new customers
The Role
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to drive transformational change within an established business - with world-class marketing and technology resources at your disposal.
MVF owns and operates a portfolio of brands that attract multi-millions of visitors each year. We believe that creating niche audiences via email newsletters will enable us to increasingly engage existing audiences - and to acquire new audiences that are untapped today.
The Role
This role is critical to unlocking the next phase of growth across MVF's portfolio of eight B2B newsletters. With strong subscriber foundations already in place, we're ready to scale - and that means building smarter, faster, and more effective ways to attract, engage, and retain readers.
It's an exciting role because it gives you the opportunity to create something new, drive tangible growth, and be at the heart of transformational change in an already successful business. You'll own the strategy and execution of our organic newsletter growth engine, shaping how we build and serve audience communities in every niche.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Audience Growth
Design and execute scalable organic list-building strategies across all newsletter brands. Collaborate with content and SEO teams to convert high-performing articles into acquisition channels, while continuously optimizing landing pages, pop-ups, and signup modules to improve conversion rates. Track acquisition sources to identify and double down on the highest-performing growth channels.
  2. Conversion Optimization
Take charge of optimizing all subscriber acquisition touchpoints - from signup flows and landing pages to confirmation journeys and onboarding sequences. Launch A/B tests, track results, and iterate quickly.
  3. Engagement Strategy
Work closely with editorial teams to understand subscriber behavior and develop strategies that improve retention, reduce churn, and increase lifetime value. Bring insight to our welcome sequences, re-engagement efforts, and triggered campaigns.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with editorial, data, marketing, product, and sales teams to align growth with content, brand, and commercial objectives. Be a bridge-builder who turns insights into scalable execution.
  5. Data-Driven Insights
Monitor growth and engagement metrics across all newsletters. Identify what's working, where we're underperforming, and how we can accelerate progress. Translate data into action.
  6. Newsletter Innovation
Test new tactics to accelerate list growth: from in-product signups to embedded modules, partnerships, and scalable referral systems. Build repeatable systems that can be rolled out to future newsletters and verticals.
  7. Subscriber Experience
Champion a seamless, value-driven subscriber experience that delivers on our brand promise at every stage of the funnel - before and after someone hits "subscribe."
  8. Monetization
Develop and execute monetization strategies that turn newsletter engagement into sustainable revenue. You'll work closely with newsletter stakeholders to identify high-value audience segments and match them with the right monetization models - from sponsorships to lead generation campaigns and premium content offerings.

You'll be directly responsible for optimizing newsletter ad placements - ensuring they're well-integrated, high-performing, and aligned with both audience interests and advertiser goals.
Experience & Expertise
  • Proven experience growing newsletter audiences organically (not reliant on paid acquisition)
  • Strong understanding of the mechanics behind successful lead magnets, referral programs, and list-building funnels
  • Track record of designing and improving signup flows, onboarding journeys, and lifecycle campaigns
  • Solid grasp of email marketing tools and customer journey tools.
  • Highly analytical, with a clear sense of what good looks like when it comes to funnel performance and engagement KPIs
  • Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Experience operating in high-velocity, multi-brand or portfolio-style environments is a plus

What Success Looks Like
  • Growing total subscriber base
  • Improving conversion rates across all signup touchpoints
  • Increasing onboarding activation and reducing early churn
  • Establishing a repeatable organic growth playbook that scales across brands and new verticals
  • Developing deep cross-functional relationships across content, data, marketing, and product
  • Building a clear feedback loop between subscriber behavior and editorial strategy

Loves
  • Going deep into data to understand and improve performance
  • Building systems that don't just work - they scale
  • Spotting untapped opportunities others miss
  • Collaborating with creative, data, and editorial teams to bring big ideas to life
  • Seeing clean, compelling dashboards that reflect real progress
  • Getting things live - fast

Loathes
  • Vanity metrics with no clear value
  • Growth for growth's sake without retention
  • A disjointed reader experience
  • Bottlenecks that block momentum
  • Strategies that can't be replicated across brands
  • Letting opportunities to test or optimize slip by

What We Do

MVF powers growth for our clients by connecting them to potential customers. The digital marketing landscape is complex and constantly evolving. Businesses need experts who are tracking that evolution and finding new ways to innovate and win. This is where MVF comes in. We match readers, buyers, & business leaders with the brands & companies that make the products and services they need. We do this by building relationships with potential customers at each stage of the marketing funnel by offering insights, information, and tools to help them learn more about the things they’re interested in. We build profiles on our audiences, guide them through purchase decisions, and ultimately connect them to the right products/services when they are ready to buy. Our clients trust us as experts in lead generation, which frees up their time to do what they do best.

Why Work With Us

Competitive starting base and a lucrative uncapped commission structure. Great work-life balance, Monday – Friday, business hours (9am - 5pm) – it’s not a competition between who leaves the latest, just keep smashing your targets.
