Description
As a New Business Representative, you will provide a variety of services to external and internal customers, including handling inquiries and resolving issues related to new business. Your role will include processing cases to ensure compliance, maintain accurate policyholder records, and support team communication. You will manage daily workflows, resolves issues, and meet deadlines to ensure timely processing to work efficiently with the team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide customer service to enhance relationships with funeral homes, agents, and policyholders for new business resolution.
- Make outbound calls and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and fax regarding new business and policy information.
- Resolve new business cases to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain accurate policyowner files and ensure proper underwriting and notes.
- Learn about all HLC operations, products, licensing, policy accounting, and underwriting processes.
- Share relevant information with team members and management.
- Maintain records for daily production and ensure new business underwriting notes are up-to-date.
- Resolve escalated issues by meeting with management and team members.
- Review daily workflow and contact agents for timely resolution.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of New Business experience preferred.
- Insurance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft office products: Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience on a LifePro office administration system preferred

Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of new business experience
- Insurance experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word
