Nevio transversal QA Management LeadBusiness Environment
The Airline Solutions Engineering division, part of the Travel Unit, is accountable for the effective delivery of the technology and solutions required to achieve the Airline Solutions business objectives. The group encompasses several domains and a wide range of activities: Offer, Order and Traveler Touchpoints & Experience (formerly Digital for Airlines), Services, and Transversal RnD. One key mission of the group is to enable and support our customers in the industry-wide Offer, Order, Settle, and Delivery transformation and to deliver the new retailing Portfolio. This is a significant initiative (1000 members involved, across most domains and divisions) and a key revenue initiative for Amadeus.
As part of the construction of Nevio, the QA manager is accountable for the quality of the deliverables from integration in test to deployment in production. They oversee the end-to-end testing for Nevio across trains and products. They will work closely with the Nevio Test project managers, teams, and customers to promote quality-related topics before/during the acceptance phases and until production rollout.
Your Main Responsibilities
The QA management lead for Nevio will be responsible for:

Coordinating and harmonizing quality activities across Nevio trains and delivery groups (6+ trains/600 members) to ensure proper validation end-to-end of the features and epics, as well as the setup of a comprehensive quality framework (CI/CD/CD, non-regression, tooling, best practices, and guidelines) for the Nevio deliverables.

Establishing the test environment during UAT (rehearsal and training environments setup is out of scope).

Following the results of the test campaigns performed by the Quality/Test Engineers.

Approving functional, non-functional, and non-regression validations between each phase of the life cycle (integration, system, and acceptance).

Tracking software quality KPIs over the different development, testing, and rollout phases and guiding continuous improvement streams on the quality activities.
In addition, the Nevio QA management lead will work closely with the Nevio Test Project Managers, the customer QA representatives, and the Nevio train leaders (amigos, QA managers), during the customer-facing UAT or BPT (business process testing) phases to follow, update, and improve the quality testing activities (support and coordination of QA activities cross trains, e2e brush tests writings and execution, PTR/IR management, test strategy definition).
Common Accountabilities:

Has extensive expertise in their discipline or function. Provides expert guidance, promotes innovation, and formally trains groups of less experienced professionals.

Has a broad understanding of the environment and uses it to improve efficiency, recommends solutions/best practices, and influences the strategy of the department. Translates the strategy of the activity into a concrete action plan for the area, setting and monitoring targets for the team.

Works independently, based on management directions. May coordinate functional teams or projects and serves as a best practices/quality resource.
Specific Accountabilities:

Ensure compliance of test strategy with CI/CD guidelines, Green IT guidelines, and all quality guidelines (SDL, STDL), QA best practices/standards from the industry.

Define and maintain test strategy and own the test plan for the project, product, or release.

Develop a relationship structure between the relevant levels of decision for both Amadeus and customer organizations involved in testing.

Accompany and support the customer during UAT for all testing matters.

Analyze all testing requirements for internal BU or cross BU.

Follow the results of the test campaigns performed by the QA Engineer.

Approve functional, non-functional, and regression validations between each phase of the life cycle.

Approve releases.

Be a point of escalation for issues and trigger actions to ensure sustainability of the product.

Define monitoring of the software with adequate quality KPIs throughout the whole development lifecycle.

Deliver regular reports to stakeholders (QA Engineers, Product Definition Analysts, and Software Development Engineers) on the evolution of the quality along the development lifecycle.

Collaborate with development teams, commercial, and cross-functional test teams to prioritize requirements and streamline execution.
