In this Research Neuropsychologist  role, you will contribute to research with real clinical impact.
You will develop advanced skills in neuropsychological assessment, data analysis and mental health therapy.
You will work closely with families to improve our understanding of development and behaviour in children and adults with severe epilepsy.

What you will deliver:

  • Conduct neuropsychological assessments to characterise developmental, cognitive and behavioural phenotypes in severe epilepsies.
  • Coordinate appointments, assessments and therapy across the Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy (DEE) Research Program and Mental Health Intervention for Children with Epilepsy (MICE)-DEE program.
  • Collect, manage and analyse clinical and neuropsychological data within study-specific databases with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Contribute to grant applications, ethics submissions, reports and peer-reviewed publications, and present findings at meetings.
  • Liaise with clinicians, researchers, students and families, supporting project outcomes.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Hold a Masters or PhD in clinical neuropsychology, psychology, cognitive neuroscience or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate experience collecting, managing and analysing neuropsychological data, using SPSS and Excel confidently.
  • Manage multiple research tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with strong organisation.
  • Build rapport with children, adults and families, communicating sensitively about complex health and mental health issues.
  • Show meticulous attention to detail when collating data, clinical documentation and research materials.
  • Are passionate about research
