Healthcare United is seeking an Outpatient Neurologist to join a well-supported, established practice in East Central Illinois. This position is 100% outpatient with no call — a separate two-neurologist team covers all inpatient duties — and you will work alongside four advanced practice providers in a clinic located within the hospital building. Regional demand for neurology services is high, providing a built-in referral stream from day one.
This position offers an above-market base salary with a two-year guarantee followed by uncapped RVU-based earning potential. - Provide outpatient neurologic evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing management
- Treat a broad range of neurological conditions in a clinic-based setting
- Collaborate with four advanced practice providers to optimize patient access
- Partner with the inpatient neurology team for seamless continuity of care
- Interpret and coordinate neurodiagnostic testing
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialty physicians on referrals
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Deliver patient-focused, quality-driven care
Requirements
- MD or DO degree required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for or active Illinois medical license
