About this opportunity:
Summer 2027 internships to support the deployment, optimization, and operations of Ericsson Radio Access Networks (RAN). Interns will work across five complementary job roles: RAN construction and engineering services, RAN construction and engineering operations, RAN network services (including RF design and optimization), customer program and project management, and technology/IT operations with AI-driven automation tools. You will gain hands-on experience in telecommunications infrastructure and working while contributing directly to live network deployments and operational improvements.
What you will do:
- RAN Site Construction & Engineering Services: Support field engineers and construction teams in site surveys, capacity planning, and deployment coordination. You may assist with site assessments, documentation, and coordination between engineering and field crews.
- Construction & Engineering Operations: Help optimize workflows, track project timelines, manage documentation, and support logistics for multi-site deployments. You will collaborate with teams to identify bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency.
- Customer Network Services & RF Optimization: Contribute to RF design validation, network performance analysis, and optimization projects. Tasks include data collection, signal analysis, modeling support, and coordination with customer teams to improve network quality and coverage.
- RAN Site Program & Project Management: Support PMO functions including project tracking, stakeholder communication, resource scheduling, and risk management. You will help maintain project documentation, timelines, and status reporting across multiple initiatives.
- Technology/IT Operations & AI Automation: Develop or improve tools and automation frameworks that enhance RAN deployment and operations. Work with internal teams to identify manual processes, prototype solutions, and deploy automation that increases efficiency and reduces errors.
