Job DescriptionThe Network Technology Owner is responsible for defining and driving the strategy, architecture, and lifecycle management of one or more technology products or services. The role ensures that technology solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned to business objectives by leading technology research, evaluation, development, and continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, service delivery teams, and vendors to translate business requirements into effective technology strategies and solutions.
The role is accountable for product and service roadmaps, technology lifecycle management, service catalogue ownership, and ensuring alignment to enterprise standards. The Technology Owner will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology services, manage vendor relationships, drive reference architectures and multi-year roadmaps, and ensure products remain current through effective patching, upgrades, and lifecycle planning. The role will also guide engineering teams in delivering technical solutions and ensuring services are operationally sustainable, supportable, and continuously improved.
A key responsibility is the ownership of the enterprise wireless networking strategy. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of wireless networking fundamentals, including wireless standards and technologies, RF (Radio Frequency) concepts, wireless architecture, and network protocols.
