Network Specialist Consultant

We are looking for a Network Consultant to join us at Telia Cygate.

My name is Jenny Flaherty, and I lead our Networking team in Växjö. We are growing and looking for another expert who wants to develop together with us. Our team helps customers build, modernize, and secure critical network infrastructure, supporting their journey toward a robust digital future.

What you’ll do:

As a Network Consultant, you will work with everything from planning and designing network and security solutions to installation, configuration, and troubleshooting in complex IT environments for some of Sweden's largest customers.

Our customer engagements and delivery projects often span multiple service areas, meaning you will collaborate closely with specialists across networking, security, and hybrid IT. This gives you the opportunity to broaden your expertise and gain exposure to cloud, security, on-premises environments, and the latest technologies connecting them.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and planning network and security solutions for customers on different levels
• Installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting complex network environments
• Working independently while maintaining close customer collaboration
• Contributing to customer projects and technical deliveries together with colleagues across multiple technology domains

What will help you thrive in this role:

We would also like to see that you have:

• Deep expertise in switching and routing technologies
• Solid experience with SD-WAN solutions
• Broad knowledge of network security and related technologies
• Experience with installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN environments
• Strong business understanding and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Swedish (native or near-native) and good English
• A valid Category B driver's license

It is considered a plus if you also have:

• Cisco CCNP or CCIE certifications
• Fortinet FCP or FCSS certifications
• Certifications within information or network security
• Experience working with hybrid IT environments
• Previous consulting experience
