What We'll Bring:
The Network Security Operations team is responsible for the evolution and implementation of our global enterprise security strategy in partnership with technology leaders across TransUnion. We work with teams across the organization to:• Ensure that TU security platforms and services are designed and implemented to deliver secure and scalable solutions that provide maximum value.
• Consult, champion, and rationalize security architecture designs, policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Advise Enterprise Architecture, BISOs, and project teams on security requirements.
• Support processes that allow TU to evaluate, mitigate, and approve/accept residual risk.
• Advise and support security technology enablement activities for all cloud and on-premise systems.
Security Engineers will be responsible for connecting development and security audiences to the resources required to achieve scalable security and awareness. They will partner with Enterprise Architecture and Solutions Architecture, and Cyber Threat to consult on policy rationalization of defined control sets, consult on global secure architectural patterns, and assist in alignment between Risk, ISO, Policy and Engineering efforts to ensure successful and high value delivery of secure, scalable and compliant solutions.

- Experience in security operations, engineering, architecture, risk management, and policy rationalization.
- 5-8 years demonstrated experience leading design and implementation of technologies in a public cloud environment
- Experience in client access security broker (CASB) technologies
- Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Maintain and enforce network security policies, standards, and configurations
- Able to perform on-call duties on a rotational basis
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate can articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Innate curiosity coupled with strong problem-solving skills
- A drive for simplification and automation
- A consultative approach with proven expertise and ability to influence peers/external business leaders on security matters
- A broad knowledge base that spans across IT constructs, including software development, hardware, systems administration, and operations
Impact You'll Make:
We would love to see:
- 5+ years of experience in large-scale cloud solutions utilizing a mixture of hardware and software technologies, across a broad array of security disciplines.
- Familiarity with SIEM and log management
- 2-4 years of Netskope experience or equivalent in a SASE environment
- Familiarity with industry standard frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 2700x, and CIS.
- The ability to straddle both traditional/legacy (Data Center, physical infrastructure) and modern/next-gen technology (Cloud, XaaS, DevSecOps)
- Demonstrated experience working in and influencing priority decisions
- Proven experience working within Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, including configuration, troubleshooting, and security policy management - nice to have.
