Job Description:

The Network & Security Expert needs to participate in the proper functioning of Ipsen's IS by guaranteeing the maintenance of the various technical platforms (network, telecom, security and unified communications) with the aim of availability, continuity and performance.

In his domain of expertise, he will define the architecture, design, ensures the implementation of new solutions, integrates these solutions into the existing context, ensures production releases, supervises, administers, operates the network and security tools of the production environment. 

He will assist, inform and respond to alerts and can intervene directly on all or part of a project, change or incident that falls within their area of ​​expertise. 

He will need to carry out technological watch work on their field, proposing the developments they deem necessary to ensure their implementation. 

He will be recognized as an interlocutor of the IT departments. 

Study & Integration 

 

  • Ensure a technological watch on network solutions, unified communication and security in order to deliver to customers the technical solution in line with their needs. 

  • Define the relevant, optimal architectures to ensure the expected service levels. 

  • Advise and ensure that network needs are taken into account in the context of business and infrastructure projects. 

  • Integrate the solutions defined during the architecture design and ensure the transfer under good conditions to the outsourcer (documentation, training, supervision). 

 

Reporting / MCO / Capacity Planning 

 

  • Ensure the optimal functioning of the tools or systems under his responsibility. 

  • Monitor and analyze performance, implement measures likely to improve the quality and productivity of tools, systems and services. 

  • Develop rules for the use of tools in accordance with IOS norms and standards and service contracts. 

  • Update the documentation : equipment, hardware configuration and associated software. 

  • Implementation of monitoring by integrating performance management, alert thresholds and optimization of technical resources. 

  • Be proactive in managing the network and its capacity (analysis and reporting). 

 

Run 

 

  • Maintain voice and data communication systems in operational conditions in compliance with performance and compliance commitments. 

  • Maintain a level of security with regard to the identified risks. 

  • Provide level 3 technical support for supervision and maintenance teams through ITIL processes. 

  • Ensure the proper management of incidents and changes in compliance with processes (ITIL) and service levels. 

  • Facilitate the review of services, in particular the SLAs, with the operator during Operational Committees. 

 

Technical Skills 

 

  • Expert in Network & Telecom Domain 

  • Perfect knowledge of WAN ( operator backbone). 

  • Perfect knowledge of LAN technologies. 

  • Perfect knowledge of WIFI technologies. 

  • Good knowledge of WAN technologies. 

 

  • Expert in the Security Domain  

  • Perfect knowledge of layer 4/7 Firewalls. 

  • Perfect knowledge of SASE solutions. 

  • Good knowledge of SIEM tools. 

 

  • Expert in the Unified Communication Domain 

  • Good knowledge of Videoconference system. 

  • Good knowledge of Telephony infrastructure. 

Qualification / background : 

  • Engineer graduation. 

  • 10 years minimum experience in Telecom/Network/Security domain. 

  • Significative experience in Unified Communication. 

 

Personal Behavior : 

  • Client centric. 

  • Huge experience in production management.

  • Ability to understand the business issues associated with IT services. 

  • Ability to consider a wide variety of issues and identify priorities.

  • Significant experience in unified communications
  • Expert knowledge of network and telecom domains
