Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and operating security infrastructure such as Firewall, Network Intrusion Prevention Systems
Liaise and coordinate activities with the Security Operations Centre provider and Collaborate closely with peer IT organizations helping to influence, guide and direct technical outcomes; ensuring mutual strategy alignment
Define and document technical requirements for new security capabilities, working with key suppliers to solution, build and lab certify ensuring compliance with all functional, operational and business objectives.
Perform analysis of network key performance indicators (KPIs), Stats & Parameters for networks.
Develop unique coding solutions involving Microsoft Excel, Access, and/or SQL as needed to support continuous process improvement
Professional experience developing and implementing new security systems, security programs, protocols and maintenance of existing system
Level 2 technical support for Network Security, and Level 2 escalation for SOC alerts
Assist to set up firewall and IDS ruleset
Responsible for preparing management updates for network security for internal forums.
Assist in troubleshooting and incident response
Responsible for managing and applying patches/firmware upgrades to network security devices, in line with Patch Management Forum
Assist to evaluate new security product until deployment
Assist in formulating network security architecture, and identifying suitable solutions to improve security posture
Assist to handle assigned projects until sign-off
Assist to coordinate vulnerability management program, both internally and with external vendors
Attends to all DR related activities
Assist with audit responses and complies with all internal policies.
Jobholder Requirements
A Diploma/Bachelors degree in IT or Information/Cyber Security
Experience
Minimum 5 - 7 years working experience in Information/Network/Cyber Security with project experience
