POSITION: Network Lead Engineer

OFFERED WAGE: $152,464.00 per year
JOB DUTIES:
JOB DUTIES: Lead contingent network engineers in daily operational support in infrastructure technologies such as Networks, Telephony, and Network Security. Implement, maintain, and integrate corporate WAN, LAN, and Network Security Infrastructures. Enforce network security policy. Support Regional IT in network troubleshooting and maintenance. Plan and control restoration of complex network issues. Escalate service issues with internal teams and vendors. Maintain documentation of network infrastructure. Plan and execute annual maintenance, security assessments, and remediation. Contribute to developing new solutions, standards, and procedures for network infrastructure. Track continuous improvement activities and capacity management. Partner with Enterprise and Regional IT to maintain CMDB accuracy, monitor equipment, and track hardware/software lifecycles. Works with vendors and partners on renewal of maintenance contracts, perform periodic service reviews and develop service improvement plans. Follow Change and Problem Management processes and communicate during outages and changes. Collaborate with Regional and Enterprise teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and deadlines. Provide solutions to reported issues from Regional Teams and support incident resolution. Inform leadership of infrastructure cost for AOP preparation and run rate optimization initiatives. Partner with team to develop and track KPIs and lead improvement initiatives. Support audit activities.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five (5) Years of experience as Network or Systems Engineer or related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The required work experience must have included network design and implementation, deployment of routers, WAN accelerators, switches and wireless access points, resolution of WAN capacity issues, and change events for network devices such as routers, WAN accelerators, switches and wireless access points.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 20% Domestic Travel.
