We are looking for a hands-on Network Integration Engineer to join our Access Networks team, supporting our ISAM family products, GPON, VDSL, and voice solutions.
This position blends system verification, technical support, and hands-on lab work to replicate customer issues. You’ll collaborate with experienced end-to-end engineers and play a role throughout the entire product lifecycle—from setting up and testing in the lab to analyzing and resolving customer-reported problems.
Our team has the end-to-end responsibility for ISAM family products—high-capacity, multiservice access nodes delivering a wide range of carrier-grade services, including:
- Voice services, including VoIP (SIP, H.248) and for legacy PSTN/ISDN interconnection
- Ultra-broadband internet services (residential and business) over copper (ADSL / VDSL2) and fiber (GPON / FTTx) technologies
- Video, IPTV, and multimedia services over managed broadband networks (e.g., multicast support)
- Internal relocation only
- Support lab activities, including setup, configuration, and integration of access network equipment (GPON, VDSL, VoIP)
- Assist in bringing up and validating new products in the lab environment
- Execute and design manual test scenarios; contribute to test automation efforts (e.g., Python, Perl) when needed
- Investigate and analyze customer-reported issues, working closely with senior engineers
- Reproduce field issues in the lab and assist in troubleshooting and validation of fixes
- Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback on defects and improvements
- Document findings, test results, and operational procedures
Must-Have
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, computer science, software technology, or equivalent education
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
- Comfortable working with Linux-based operating systems
- Solid understanding of telecom or networking fundamentals (Layer 2/3, IP, routing, switching)
- Hands-on mindset: comfortable working in lab environments with real equipment
- Experience with testing (manual or automated) is highly desirable
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and customers
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work across multiple domains
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of Wind River VxWorks RTOS
- Understanding of VoIP services, including SIP and H.248 protocols
Familiarity with access technologies such as GPON, xDSL, or VoIP is a strong plus
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl
