As a Network Engineer, you will participate in network and security design, configuration and testing activities for Internet Vikings  customer-facing and internal setups. You will be building and improving secure networks, with a focus on project delivery.

The responsibilities and top prioritizations are to:

• Design, configure, test and implement network solutions in both development, test
  and production environments. This also includes all security aspects of those setups.
• Perform troubleshooting in all network layers, and assist with support activities as
  the last line of support, interacting both with colleagues in other teams as well as
  directly with customers
• Lead and/or participate in discovery and design workshops, internally and with
  customers.
• Support physical installation of network and security devices, either in person or
  remotely.
• Lead network assessment projects, and provide oversight for Engineering staff
  members in the development and presentation of findings and recommendations.
• Communicate progress and status of deliverables to customers and technical project
  teams.
• Take part in recurring budget and forecast work within the area of responsibility
  (networking).
• Always ensure a cost-effective setup, while not losing focus on stability, uptime and
  security.
• Maintain technical acumen and apply as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.
