Network Engineer

Position OverviewAs a Network Engineer you will design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs.

Highly skilled and experienced Level 3 Network Engineer with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network

infrastructures. Possesses deep expertise in troubleshooting intricate network issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring network security. A proactive and collaborative team player, adept at mentoring junior engineers and contributing to strategic network planning.

Skills:

Core Networking Technologies & Protocols:

● Deep understanding of WAN technologies (MPLS, VPN, SD-WAN)

● Proficiency in network security concepts and technologies (Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, NAC)

● Expert-level knowledge of TCP/IP stack and related protocols (DNS, DHCP,

HTTP, SMTP, SNMP, etc.)

● Advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP) and switching

technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel)

● Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash and Ansible

● Experience with network hardware from various vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.)

● Strong understanding of network design principles and best practices

● Implementation and management of network security devices (Firewalls,

IDS/IPS)

● Experience with security best practices and hardening techniques

● Knowledge of network security protocols (IPsec, SSL/TLS)

● Expert-level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex network

issues

● Proficiency in using network monitoring and analysis tools (Wireshark,

SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)

● Ability to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks
