Your role at Exness:
We are currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer. In your role, you will be responsible to provide technical support, development, and improvement of office infrastructure worldwide to ensure optimal performance of wired and wireless networks, internet, and WAN channels.
If you are not already located in Cyprus, relocation to Cyprus is a requirement for this role.
You will:
- Support, monitor, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks, Internet, and WAN channels.
- Participate in project activities such as opening new offices, corporate buildings, modernization, and optimization.
- Resolve daily incidents and maintain network reliability.
- Ensure smooth operations of production systems post-design phase, providing necessary documentation and management tools.
- Collaborate with the Security Department to implement security practices and solutions.
- Adhere to security and safety best practices for all office locations.
- Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise.
- Meet established SLAs for ticket resolution and project deadlines.
- Perform tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.
- Support business applications and operating systems.
- Manage IT equipment, assets, and inventory efficiently.
- Proactively identify and solve technical problems.
- Maintain documentation on processes and procedures and provide regular reports.
- Foster positive relationships with all departments and colleagues.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years in network design and operations.
- Network monitoring experience with open-source tools (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Telegraf).
- Advanced knowledge of OSI model and TCP/UDP stack.
- Design and operation of L2-3 networks (preferably Cisco and Huawei equipment).
- Switching and routing protocols (STP, BGP, OSPF).
- Experience with IPSEC, DMVPN.
- Knowledge of LACP, Stacking, NAT, AAA, VRRP, DHCP.
- Centralized Wi-Fi infrastructure support (Cisco or Aruba).
- Experience with NGFW products (Cisco, PaloAlto etc)
- Low-level network troubleshooting skills.
- Basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) or automation with Ansible.
- Network hardware installation and roll-out as per design standards.
- Connectivity diagnostics and troubleshooting expertise.
- Knowledge equivalent to Cisco CCNP or higher.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS).
- Experience in Linux and Windows administration.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are advantageous.
- Willingness to continuously learn new technologies.
- Strong team player, capable of supporting, teaching, and learning from team members.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering quality work.
- Critical thinker, proactive in identifying issues and suggesting solutions across network and adjacent areas.
- Intermediate spoken and written English.
