UFPI is seeking a seasoned DevNet Engineer with a robust background in complex IP networking and datacenter design. The ideal candidate will not only excel in IT but also possess significant experience in designing and implementing OT solutions within a manufacturing environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret business objectives and translate into technical requirements for network design and implementation
- Design/Architect resilient, fault tolerant, network architectures that provide a stable and consistent business experience
- Design/Architect networks with security best practices and enforcing proper segmentation for various applications and uses
- Experience in Operational Technology (OT) networking, including an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of OT environments
- Familiarity with integrating IT and OT networks, securing OT assets, and optimizing performance in industrial or critical infrastructure settings
- Expertise in routing, switching, access control lists (ACLs), and other network fundamentals. You recognize the critical need for a dependable and scalable network infrastructure and possess strong skills in creating automation solutions
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, particularly using Python, with experience in developing scripts and tools to automate network tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention
- Install, configure, deploy, and validate, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and security designs
- Maintain and operate firewall policies and NAC policies to ensure best practices and proper network segmentation
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures to drive efficiency for internal business teams
- Assist Engineers with scope of work definition
- Create and maintain network documentation
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IS/IT Field, or similar areas of study
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Engineering
- Routing/Switching/Securing Networks, particularly with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto
- Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) networking and its unique requirements
- Experience with developing and implementing network automation solutions
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, to include Python, PowerShell, and Ansible
- Industry standards for securing enterprise networks
