EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for Network Engineer - International Products & Operations in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide system engineering and long-term technical support (Tier 3) plan, design, develop and or/implement system engineering plans and wide-scale networks for customers.
• Provide technical support to manage large service provider network, install, configure, maintain networks services, equipment, and devices. Document network problems and resolution for future reference.
• Participate in daily operational activities/provide day-to-day analysis, proactive maintenance, and perform independent complex network system troubleshooting.
• Identify and optimize capacity and performance issues for highest service availability and integrity.

Basic Requirements:

• Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field plus 6 months' experience in networking technologies or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years' experience in networking technologies.
• Experience must include 6 months in each of the following: Wireshark; Postman API; Forticlient; VMware; ESXi; Vsphere; Fortinet firewalls; Cisco switches; routers; load balancers; Linux and Windows virtual machines; and Ubuntu.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.

Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $106,969.83 - $106,969.83
