Job Duties and Responsibilities
Network Engineer II - Cell Site Activations sought by DISH Wireless in Littleton, CO.
Support the deployment of our 5G network routing infrastructure. Support the activation of new network routing infrastructure at every cell tower of the DISH 5G network. Provide advanced technical training in network troubleshooting for BGP/MPLS/Segment Routing/EVPN/Dark-Fiber technologies. Effectively communicate engineering problems and potential solutions while actively troubleshooting configuration or networking issues. Establish requirements and provide analysis for network and services specifications, network activation and acceptance. Provide technical expertise in the execution of network test, validation and integration plans on projects.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics and Telecommunications plus 1 year of experience in job offered or as Network Engineer in a large enterprise or carrier space. Requires CCNA Routing and Switching Certification. Also requires 1 year of experience using/with the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- IP routing ((OSPF) ISIS and BGP)
- Enterprise Ethernet Switching ((Traditional Hierarchical Switching) or Spine-Leaf)
- Service Provider Networking Technologies (L3VPN/L2VPN/EVPN)
- IP Addressing (CIDR/IPv4/IPv6)
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $122,557.01/Year
