Join Maxis as a Data Analytics & AI Intern and gain hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and AI-driven automation initiatives. In this role, you will support data-driven decision-making by analysing business data, developing dashboards, and exploring innovative AI solutions to improve efficiency and insights across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dashboard & Performance Reporting: Support the preparation and maintenance of dashboards and performance metrics to help stakeholders monitor business performance and make informed decisions.

• Data Extraction & Manipulation: Assist in extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability for analysis and reporting.

• Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct preliminary data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business objectives and operational improvements.

• Documentation & Reporting: Document analytical methodologies, processes, and key findings to ensure transparency, knowledge sharing, and consistency in reporting practices.

• Data Visualisation & AI-Powered Presentations: Create impactful visual presentations and reports using data visualisation and AI-powered tools to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Value-Added Project:

The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to an AI automation initiative focused on exploring methods to scrape and process data from external sources. This project will provide valuable exposure to automation techniques, data collection processes, and the practical application of AI technologies to improve operational efficiency and data accessibility.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Data Analytics Skills: Familiarity with data analysis concepts, statistical thinking, and business intelligence methodologies.

• Technical Skills: Experience or exposure to tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, R, and Power BI.

• Data Visualisation: Ability to present data clearly through dashboards, charts, and visual reports.

• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights.

• AI & Automation Interest: Interest in AI technologies, automation, and innovative approaches to data collection and analysis.

• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate findings clearly and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
