Position: Network & Computer Systems Administrator (THAAD CLS)
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Network & Computer Systems Administrator (NCSA) to support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) program in Killeen, TX. This position is part of the THAAD CLS team supporting the THAAD Missile Defense System (MDS) and its associated ground components.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and THAAD-specific hardware, software, networks, peripheral equipment, auxiliary devices, and tactical-system components.
- Perform system and network administration and troubleshooting above the Warfighter/user level, including IP configuration, network monitoring, diagnostic troubleshooting, software installation, IAVA updates, log-file collection and analysis, and system backups.
- Configure and maintain information-processing equipment and operating environments utilizing Linux, UNIX, Red Hat, and Windows operating systems to support system readiness and user operations.
- Provide timely technical support to U.S. DoD Warfighters, resolving system issues and supporting mission and operational requirements.
- Support system readiness activities, training exercises, test events, and other operational requirements, including extended hours, extended workweeks, rotating shifts, and 24/7 operations as required.
- Support scheduled and expeditionary deployments and rotations with a minimum of 120 hours' notice, including deployment as a Contractor Authorized to Accompany the Force (CAAF) in accordance with DoDI 3020.41 and AR 715-9. Deployments may involve military or commercial transportation and austere living and working conditions.
- Support other team members and perform additional duties as assigned..
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
- Typically 2–4+ years of relevant automation systems, network administration, computer systems administration, or related technical experience.
- Previous Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), or Field Service Representative (FSR) experience.
- Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain required AMMO-45 and AMMO-65 certifications.
- Valid passport and ability to meet applicable Army deployment-readiness requirements for all Areas of Responsibility, including applicable USCENTCOM deployment standards, prior to start.
- Ability and willingness to travel and deploy worldwide with limited notice, including working extended hours, rotating shifts, and 24/7 operations as mission requirements dictate.
- Previous THAAD experience or experience with a similar air and missile defense system.
- Experience supporting integrated operations with U.S. DoD Warfighters.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification and/or Class A CDL.
- Previous deployment experience, particularly as a Contractor Authorized to Accompany the Force (CAAF).
- Experience performing Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) and/or operating forklifts.
- Experience using Automated Information Systems (AIS) to document maintenance and logistics activities.
- Strong attention to detail with effective written and verbal communication skills.

Skills Required
