We are looking for a Network Administrator to monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This position will be Full-Time and Remote, candidates must be located in either Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.
This position does not offer employment sponsorship. All candidates must be eligible to work without need for sponsorship by employer.
What You’ll Do
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
Respond promptly to network-related tickets and escalations, providing effective solutions
Configure and manage small-business class firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues
Implement network changes and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to services
Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to optimize network performance
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures
What You'll Need
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with small-business class firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
Strong experience with Ubiquiti products is highly beneficial
Proficiency in network configuration, management, and troubleshooting
Solid understanding of network security principles and practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, while maintaining collaborative team relationships
Preferred:
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent
Experience with network monitoring tools and software
Familiarity with cloud networking solutions
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$65,000 - $75,000 per yearThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
