Overview:
Charter is currently seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our team in Calgary, AB starting Nov 2024. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of Network Admin experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (i.e., Extreme, Juniper, Cisco). Previous experience configuring network protocols, managing network security, and collaborating with 3rd-party vendor on network projects would be a great asset. Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid). Candidates must reside in Calgary for the duration of the project. Term: Six (6) months. Strong possibility of extension.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 7+ years of network admin experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (i.e., Extreme, Juniper, Cisco).
- Experience configuring networking protocols, i.e., VLANs, BGP, TCP/IP, DHCP.
- Experience managing network security, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Experience troubleshooting network issues and resolve connectivity problems.
- Experience documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Education: Active industry certifications, (i.e., JNCIP, ECS, CCNP) would be an asset.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
- Candidates must reside in Calgary for the duration of the project.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
