About You and this Role

Dow is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to join our team in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, CAN.

In this role, you will act as a focal point in determining maintenance service contractor strategies, administration of service contracts and interactions with service contractor company representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Purchasing Sourcing Specialists in the development and assessment contracting strategies, contract terms and conditions, and overall performance management to ensure effective delivery of required services.
  • Work with service contractor to ensure adequate response to Quality Service and Product Performance (QSPP) entries.
  • Understands maintenance, turnaround and project processes and activities to effectively manage contractor performance in cooperation with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage the activities of the contractor based on the terms and conditions of the contract.
  • Manage and track monthly costs associated with the service including purchase orders, payment of invoices, resolution of supplier payment issues, etc.
  • Conducts field audits, Management System Reviews, EH&S standard assessments and observations, as needed. Reviews and evaluates audit findings for aligned contractors and partners with contractor leadership to develop and implement action plans to close opportunity areas.
  • Participates in contractor safety meetings, as needed, and leverages Dow expectations and key learnings, as appropriate.
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including any type of permanent residency support.
