What does it feel like to be a Network Administrator in Netcompany?
As a Network Administrator, you will:
- Ensure the operation of network telecommunications and computer infrastructure to meet the organisation’s communication needs.
- Operate and manage network components.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve network issues.
- Monitor network performance and security to meet agreed service level standards.
- Use network management tools to analyse network load and performance statistics.
- Identify and address network traffic bottlenecks.
- Install and upgrade network components and monitoring solutions.
- Test and validate system upgrades.
What would make you a fit for the role:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of network administration and communication protocols (WAN, WLAN, VLAN, etc.).
- Knowledge of network security, VPN implementation, and encryption techniques.
- Experience operating network devices and services, including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and cryptographic devices.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
- Relevant technical certifications, such as:
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCDE, or CCAr.
- BIG-IP Certified Administrator and/or BIG-IP LTM Specialist certifications.
- SANS certification related to Network Security.
- Fluency in English.
