The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a Network Admin and Operations Specialist in San Diego, CA. This candidate will be responsible for network hardware and software support for the AN/SQQ 89A(V)15, including low-level corrective maintenance actions on Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Virtual Operator Trainers (VOT) throughout multiple Fleet Concentration Areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support level duties include daily system monitoring, system testing, assisting in technical refreshes, receiving technical based trouble tickets, troubleshooting & network repairs (remote and local).

Works as part of a small and specialized team to achieve day-to-day objectives with routine impact on operational results and project deliverables.

Resolves routine problems and issues, at time without clearly prescribed solutions. Checks and makes minor adjustments to work methods to solve problems.

Communicates internally with Training Systems Engineering Team (TSET) subject matter experts/hardware and software engineers.

Requires understanding of A(V) 15 Sonar System principles across multiple Advanced Capability Builds (ACBs), theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related areas.

As part of the Customer On-Site Maintenance Support (COMS) team, you will receive daily trouble tickets, identify and correct low-level hardware and software issues, and attend customer required meetings in support of the SCSTC San Diego ASW VOT classrooms to meet customer needs.

As part of COMS, you will be expected to assist in annual or “as-needed” technical refreshes and assist in receiving, movement, and storage of ASW VOT parts/spares.

As Part of COMS, you will be expected to provide daily on-site support for SCSTC San Diego ASW VOTs, to include daily maintenance and system re-starts as required.
Basic Qualifications
-
Requires High School diploma and a minimum of 1+ years of prior relevant experience.

Experience with receiving trouble tickets and providing follow-on support.

Ability to perform listed responsibilities in an offline and secured environment using a limited development environment.

Clearance- US Citizenship required to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience as Red Hat System Administrator (RHEL) or level of knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Experience with AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 ACB-11,13,15,17,19 sensor suite.

Experience at US Navy Training Commands.

Pay Range:Pay Range $37,050.00 - $66,975.00
