Company Overview
ACS (Allen Control Systems) is a defense technology company building precision robotic systems for the United States and its allies. Founded by two former U.S. Navy electrical engineers with deep experience in robotics and software, ACS brings together AI, computer vision, precision motion, and advanced hardware to solve complex defense challenges across land, air, and maritime environments.
Our flagship product, Bullfrog, is an autonomous precision weapon system that transforms existing weapons into highly accurate counter-drone systems — giving warfighters a scalable, cost-effective response to one of the fastest-growing threats on the modern battlefield. Bullfrog is deployed with U.S. forces, and ACS works with organizations throughout the U.S. military and national security community.
Following a $200 million Series B at a $2.2 billion valuation, ACS is rapidly expanding manufacturing, accelerating Bullfrog deployments, and developing the next generation of autonomous battlefield systems. This is an opportunity to join a proven, fast-moving team and help scale technology with direct, real-world impact on national security.
ACS is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with additional operations in Alexandria, Virginia; Mountain View, California; and Huntsville, Alabama. For more information, visit allencontrolsystems.com.
About The Role
We are looking for a NetSuite Administrator to own the configuration, optimization, and day-to-day administration of NetSuite at ACS. ACS runs a dual-ERP environment with NetSuite as the financial system of record and Odoo for manufacturing and operations. This is a hands-on individual contributor role reporting to the ERP Systems Manager, with close partnership with the Finance and Accounting teams, for someone equally comfortable translating business requirements into system configurations and supporting end users through a fast-moving implementation.
What You’ll Do
Own day-to-day NetSuite administration including configuration, customization, and system access management; plan, review, and revise configurations as business needs evolve; maintain data integrity through regular audits and policy enforcement.
Develop, test, and deploy customizations, custom objects, SuiteApps, and API-based application extensions; build and maintain saved searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
Provide front-line technical support and training to end users; monitor system usage and performance; coordinate with NetSuite or external professional services on larger, more complex implementation projects.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and system governance; stay current on NetSuite functionality, updates, and integration capabilities.
What You’ll Need
3 to 5 years of hands-on NetSuite administration and implementation experience; Bachelor’s degree in MIS, IT, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
Technical proficiency with HTML, XML, JavaScript, and NetSuite SuiteCloud developer tools; 2+ years of SQL and relational database experience including data integration and analysis.
Strong understanding of standard business processes across AR, AP, GL, invoicing, inventory management, and project accounting; project management and system integration experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams.
You’ll Stand Out
Experience supporting government contractors with DCAA-compliant cost accounting or project-based accounting in a defense environment; familiarity with FAR/DFARS, CMMC, or NIST SP 800-171 as they relate to system access controls and audit logging.
NetSuite ERP Consultant or Administrator certification; experience in a dual-ERP or hybrid ERP environment.
Exposure to manufacturing operations, inventory management, or BoM/work order workflows; general ITAR/EAR awareness and understanding of data handling controls in a defense context.
Experience at a startup or high-growth company where systems and processes were being built rather than inherited.

What We Do
Allen Control Systems is a defense technology company for a new era of drone warfare and to completely change battlefield economics. ACS is developing counter-drone robotic gun systems targeted at neutralizing attacking drone swarms, drones that are pre-programmed with AI, and drones that are non-jammable. ACS was created to lower the cost per kill of a drone to a few dollars. We do this by combining cutting-edge hardware and software that allows us to point an inexpensive gun that already exists in the field more accurately than anyone ever has before. ACS is a remote organization, with our HQ in Austin, Texas, and an office in Alexandria, Va. If you're passionate about our mission, we’d love to hear from you.
