We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Administrator with a strong background in finance to manage and optimize our financial processes within the NetSuite and BlackLine platforms. This role involves ensuring that our financial systems are operating effectively, supporting accurate financial reporting, and driving process improvements across the finance department.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration of the NetSuite system with a focus on financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Dunning

  • Configure and maintain BlackLine, such as Account Reconciliations, Task Management, Journal Entry, and Transaction Matching

  • Collaborate with Business Systems team members to integrate BlackLine with ERP systems, banking platforms, and other financial tools

  • Ensure the system is configured to support accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Manage user setup, roles and permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls for finance-related data.

  • Customize financial workflows, forms, and reports to meet the specific needs of the finance department.

  • Develop and maintain complex saved searches, financial reports, and dashboards that support financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

  • Collaborate with Finance Product Owner to identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data within NetSuite, supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support financial audits by providing accurate system documentation and data exports.

  • Generate reports and analytics to support management in decision-making and financial close processes.

  • Provide support to finance users, troubleshooting issues and optimizing their use of NetSuite’s financial modules.

  • Troubleshoot system errors, data issues, and workflow problems to ensure minimal disruption to financial operations.

  • Liaise with BlackLine support for more complex issues and system enhancements.

  • Document system configurations, and customization for audit and training purposes.

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data by performing regular audits and reconciliations.

  • Oversee data imports, exports, and migrations related to financial transactions and reporting.

Basic Requirements of the NetSuite Administrator - Finance:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator, proficient in managing financial processes (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets), and skilled in NetSuite configuration, customization, and financial reporting

  • Experience with BlackLine in an admin capacity, particularly with the Account Reconciliation, Task Management and Journal Entry Modules.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and ERP systems.

  • Demonstrated strong analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to follow procedures 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong familiarity with agile software development practices and tools

  • Solution-oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred Requirements of the NetSuite Administrator - Finance::

  • NetSuite Administrator or Financial User certification.

  • BlackLine certification or training.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

  • Experience with data integration and workflow automation.

  • Capable of working with a mix of in person, remote and offshore team members

  • Team player who is also able to operate independently and handle conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent, quality performance standards

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively while delivering high-quality work

  • Ability to work across several lines of business to achieve long term organizational goals

  • Interested in teaching fellow Amplifiers

  • Experience in education or ed-tech industry


 

What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
