Overview of the position
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, production-level applications and taking ownership for the entire software lifecycle: from development and testing to monitoring and alerting. This role is ideal for someone who values collaboration, critical thinking, and delivering real business value.
Core responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET.
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions, ensuring strong monitoring and observability.
• Work with Kafka, ElasticSearch, and Postgres to build resilient data pipelines and search capabilities.
• Drive database design, schema versioning, and migrations.
• Champion DevSecOps practices to embed security into every stage of development.
• Support teams through technology migrations and adoption of best practices.
• Investigate root causes and propose sustainable solutions.
• Document processes and share knowledge to elevate team performance.
Key requirements
• Extensive experience building event-driven production-level applications.
• Strong ownership mindset across development, testing, monitoring, and alerting.
• Ability to mentor and elevate others through cooperation and knowledge sharing.
• Critical thinker who communicates findings early and clearly.
• Solution-focused approach with a passion for delivering value.
• Commitment to writing and maintaining clear documentation.
• Familiarity with security-first development practices (DevSecOps).
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
