The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a C# developer with the advanced skills needed to diagnose and fix issues affecting VistA products for our Veterans Affairs client.

This role is more than just coding. We need a developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and progress toward modernization. Using Agile lifecycle development, you’ll build and repair health and clinical applications for VA. You’ll analyze the user needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience with .NET software development
• 5+ years of experience developing software for the U.S. government
• 2+ years of experience with software development in the healthcare IT field
• 2+ years of experience with Veterans Affairs products
• 2+ years of experience developing in Cloud environments
• Knowledge of software development and design or architectural patterns
• Ability to understand front-end users' requirements and communicate with front-end users to replicate their issues
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• Computer Science Certification

• Experience with product sustainment
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Experience with GitHub
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift
• Experience with Azure Cloud
• Experience with SQL
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks
• SAFe Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
