.NET Developer | Cloud & Enterprise Applications

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to design, develop, and support scalable and high-performing enterprise applications. This role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, leading complex projects, and ensuring system stability and security. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive expertise in .NET technologies and cloud architectures to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions aligned with organizational growth strategies.

Software Requirements

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of the .NET framework (.NET Core and/or .NET 4.x) for building enterprise-grade applications

• Proficiency in C# for backend development with experience in designing scalable, maintainable code

• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC / Web API for web service development

• Experience working with SQL Server, including stored procedures, data modeling, and performance tuning

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS supporting deployment of .NET applications

• Knowledge of version control (Git, Azure DevOps, or TFS) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Octopus Deploy)

• Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Understanding of security protocols, OAuth, JWT, and encryption practices for enterprise applications

• Knowledge of DevOps practices supporting automation, scaling, and infrastructure as code

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications and APIs supporting enterprise business processes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Lead application design sessions, code reviews, and best practices enforcement

• Develop and automate deployment pipelines, support cloud-based hosting, and monitor application health

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance and security improvements

• Document architecture, technical specifications, and operational processes

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices in coding and deployment

• Mentoring junior developers and supporting technical skill development across teams

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages:

• Essential: C#, ASP.NET MVC / Web API

• Preferred: JavaScript, TypeScript, PowerShell

Frameworks & Libraries:

• ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework

• Front-end: Angular, React, or similar JavaScript frameworks

Databases:

• SQL Server, including experience with query optimization and stored procedures

• NoSQL (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB) (optional)

Cloud & Deployment:

Experience Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in enterprise application development using .NET technologies

• Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable applications in cloud environments

• Experience with legacy and modern enterprise architectures supporting secure and high-performance systems

• Experience working in progressive Agile environments supporting DevOps and automation

• Industry experience in finance, retail, or healthcare sectors is advantageous but not mandatory

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and enhance enterprise-focused .NET applications, APIs, and services

• Collaborate with product owners and UI teams to deliver aligned solutions

• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning activities

• Automate deployments, monitor application health, and optimize system performance

• Troubleshoot live issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve bugs efficiently

• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, deployment steps, and operational procedures

• Provide technical mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

• Certifications like MCSD, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, or similar are a plus

• Extensive hands-on experience with the full .NET stack supporting enterprise solutions
