.NET/BI Analytics Developer

Your role, your impact

As a .NET/BI Analytics Developer, you’ll play a critical role in supporting and enhancing analytics-driven applications used within the nuclear and financial industries. As part of Alithya’s Digital Applications Data Analytics team, you’ll contribute to the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of analytics solutions. Your work will directly influence business insights, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision making.

Your day-to-day

• Support, maintain, and enhance analytics solutions using .NET, C#, and Microsoft SQL BI stack;

• Analyze and translate client requirements into technical solutions;

• Develop and manage ETL processes using SSIS and support SSAS-based data models;

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and database performance;

• Build and maintain applications across front-end (Angular), middle tier, and back-end layers;

• Connect and integrate applications with various data sources, including SQL, NoSQL, and Big Data platforms;

• Perform debugging, testing, and deployment using Visual Studio or VS Code;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions;

• Support ongoing improvements, issue resolution, and system enhancements;

• Work on Azure cloud services, ensuring scalability, performance, and high availability;

• Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

Keys to your success

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field;

• Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET and/or BI development roles;

• Experience with Microsoft SQL BI stack, including SSIS and SSAS;

• Experience working with Azure cloud services and deployment strategies;

• Strong proficiency in SQL and database performance optimization;

• Hands-on experience with C# and Angular-based web applications;

• Strong understanding of data modelling, reporting, and analytics solutions;

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools;

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
