Peraton is seeking a talented .NET/Angular Software Developer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals.
The .NET/Angular Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet business and technical requirements. This role supports a variety of systems and solutions across functional areas and works both independently and as part of a collaborative development team. The developer applies sound engineering principles, follows secure coding practices, and contributes to high-quality product delivery in alignment with project goals and time-lines.
Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable, reusable, and scalable code using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, product owners, and QA to understand and refine software requirements
- Translate business and technical specifications into working software solutions
- Conduct unit testing and participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and performance
- Debug and resolve software defects and issues across the development life-cycle
- Support system integration, deployment, and documentation processes
- Adhere to secure development practices and comply with established coding standards and procedures
- Participate in Agile or iterative development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Monitor technology trends and proactively suggest improvements or alternative solutions
- Contribute to project planning, including estimating time and resource requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or an Associates degree and 4 years of experience or a High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years of experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (Green Card holders) is required.
- 2+ years of hands-on software development experience with a focus in Angular 8.0, C#, .Net framework 8.0, .Net Core
- Proficiency in C# and experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core for building web applications and APIs.
- Hands-on experience developing front-end applications using Angular (version 2+ preferred), including component creation, data binding, and routing.
- Solid understanding of SQL Server and practical experience writing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, and views using T-SQL
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools
- Exposure to DevOps practices or container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate)

Target Salary Range$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
