THE OPPORTUNITY:

CACI is seeking a skilled Logistics & Provisioning Specialist to join our team supporting U.S. Navy Gun Weapon Systems (GWS) at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. In this role, you will manage material and provisioning operations for the Navy’s MK 38, MK 45, MK 46, MK 75, MK 110, and CIWS gun weapon systems. And you will serve as the vital link between warehouse operations and program management, coordinating provisioning packages, reconciling weapon system inventory, tracking obsolescence issues, managing technical data, and ensuring accuracy across Navy logistics systems. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Material Management:
• Take direct responsibility of assigned Naval Gun Weapon Systems (GWS) material, including but not limited to MK38, MK45, MK46, MK75, MK110, and/or CIWS platforms.
• Serve as the primary liaison between warehouse operations and the Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM), ensuring seamless communication and material coordination.
Provisioning Support:
• Conduct provisioning support for assigned Gun Weapon System platforms.
• Submit and track provisioning packages to ensure accurate logistics alignment and timely delivery of critical weapon system components.
Inventory Management:
• Track, process, and reconcile all 2J (Program Office Managed) and J-Code (payback) items to ensure accurate inventory and logistics data alignment for Naval Gun Weapon Systems.
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions, inventory status, and material movements across multiple Navy systems.
Warehouse Coordination:
• Manage the administrative requirements for warehouse movements (without conducting physical warehousing duties.)
• Complete and submit warehouse movement worksheets to warehouse staff for execution.
• Track warehouse requests from initiation through completion to ensure successful material movements.
Obsolescence Management:
• Track and report on Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) for assigned Gun Weapon System platforms.
Logistics Product Data (LPD) Management:
• Review and track Logistics Product Data, including but not limited to Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) and Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs).
Technical Data Management:
• Perform the functions of the Model Based Product Support (MBPS) Tech Data Manager for assigned weapon platforms.
• Act in the Drawings Manager capacity to verify and upload technical drawings and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) into the MBPS system.
Training:
• Complete all required training and maintain active access to Department of War and Navy logistics systems, including but not limited to ICAPS, ILIT, MBPS, WebFLIS, Navy ERP, and Deckplate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or other related fields of study.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience directly related to provisioning operations within the Department of War (DoW).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused approach.
DESIRED:
• Prior U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, or DoD logistics experience.
• Hands-on experience with Naval Gun Weapon Systems (MK38, MK45, MK46, MK75, MK110, CIWS).
• Familiarity with NAVSEA or NAVSUP policies and procedures.
• Experience with DMSMS programs and obsolescence mitigation.
