The National Sales Manager will serve as the custodian of our client's business across Ghana, ensuring the achievement of sales and collection targets, product availability, effective Route-to-Market (RTM) execution, and team leadership. This role requires strategic oversight of sales operations across multiple channels while fostering growth for assigned principal products.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (both volume and value) as set by the company.
Ensure consistent collection of payments from customers to meet monthly collection goals.
Drive growth and numeric expansion through the onboarding of new outlets and customers.
Ensure product availability in all relevant outlets and sales channels (including traditional trade and modern trade) across the country.
Supervise the deployment and maintenance of Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials in alignment with principal company standards.
Manage stock levels to minimize overstocking or stock-outs across territories.
Oversee and develop a robust secondary sales force and nationwide distribution network.
Provide leadership and direction to internal sales teams and liaise effectively with representatives from the principal company.
Monitor and manage the execution of all trade programs and promotional activities.
Drive performance management and coaching of sales personnel to optimize productivity.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives.
Monitor competitor activities and deliver timely market insights to the Business Head.
Prepare and submit accurate reports on sales performance, collections, promotional activities, and market developments.
Ensure effective credit control and manage customer debts across all channels to remain within acceptable risk limits.

A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar sales leadership role, preferably in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG-Non-food) sector
Experience in team management and working with distribution networks
Fresh graduates with high leadership potential and relevant exposure may also be considered.
