About the Role

We are seeking a results‑driven Sales Representative to grow and manage relationships with corporate construction companies, contractors, and developers across Ghana. This role is focused on driving TMT Rebar sales volumes through structured account management, new business development, and disciplined follow‑through on orders, payments, and customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development
  • Identify and develop new corporate accounts among construction companies, contractors, real estate developers, and infrastructure project owners across Greater Accra and other regions
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients through site visits, referrals, industry events, and market mapping
  • Track ongoing and upcoming construction projects in the market to identify rebar demand early
Account Management
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of corporate customer accounts
  • Maintain regular contact with procurement managers, project managers, and site engineers at client companies
  • Understand client project timelines and proactively align supply schedules accordingly
Sales Execution
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules within company guidelines
  • Coordinate with logistics/dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery against orders
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure customer accounts remain within approved credit terms
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, dispatches, and customer interactions in the company's sales system
Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and customer feedback
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
  • Flag customer credit risk or reliability concerns proactively

Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in building materials, steel, construction inputs, or related industrial products
  • Proven track record of managing corporate/institutional accounts (not just retail/walk-in sales)
  • Strong understanding of the Ghanaian construction industry and key market players is a strong advantage
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Comfortable with field-based work — regular site visits and client meetings
  • Disciplined with follow-up, documentation, and CRM/order-tracking systems
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred (not mandatory if experience is strong)
